Learn how events and timers work together

Welcome to EventTimer

EventTimer is a timer platform built for people who run events. Whether you are timing a single presentation or managing a full conference with multiple rooms, everything is organized around two building blocks: events and timers.

How Events and Timers Work Together

An event is the overall occasion, for example "Annual Conference 2026" or "Monday Standup". Each event contains one or more timers, where each timer represents a single session, segment, or activity.

If your occasion spans multiple rooms, stages, or tracks, you create one event and add a timer for every session across all spaces. Name each timer with its room or track so your complete schedule is visible at a glance, for example "Main Stage: Keynote", "Room B: Workshop", or "Breakout: Panel Discussion".

Think of it this way: one event holds your entire occasion. Timers inside it represent every individual session, no matter which room or stage they belong to.
